#2720 2720 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Ibrahim ibn Sa'd narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from 'Umayr ibn Asid ibn Jariyah, an ally of Banu Zuhrah and he was among the companions of Abu Hurayrah, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (saw) sent ten men as scouts, and he appointed 'Asim ibn Thabit ibn Abi al-Aqlah, who was the grandfather of 'Asim ibn 'Umar, as their leader. They set out until they reached al-Hadah, between 'Usfan and Makkah. Their presence was mentioned to a tribe of Hudhayl called Banu Lihyan, who mobilized against them with a hundred archers. They followed their tracks until they found the remains of dates they had eaten, and they said: 'These are the dates of Yathrib.' When 'Asim and his companions sensed them, they took refuge in a high place (fadfad). The pursuers said: 'Come down, and you have our covenant and promise that we will not kill any of you.' 'Asim said: 'As for me, I will not come down under the protection of a disbeliever today. O Allah, convey our greetings to Your Prophet.' So they fought them, and seven of them were killed. Three came down based on the covenant and promise. When they got hold of them, they untied the strings of their bows and bound them. When one of the three saw that, he said: 'This, by Allah, is the first betrayal.' He resisted them, so they killed him. They took Khubayb ibn 'Adi and Zayd ibn al-Dathinah to Makkah and sold them; this was after the Battle of Badr. The sons of al-Harith bought Khubayb, as he had killed al-Harith on the day of Badr. The daughter of al-Harith said: 'Khubayb was a prisoner with us, and by Allah, I never saw a prisoner better than Khubayb. By Allah, I saw him eating a cluster of grapes when there was no fruit in Makkah at that time, and it was nothing but provision that Allah (azwj) provided to Khubayb.' She said: 'He borrowed a razor from me to shave himself for the execution.' She said: 'I lent it to him, and a young son of mine wandered toward him while I was distracted. I then saw him sitting the boy on his lap.' She said: 'I was terrified, a terror that Khubayb recognized.' She said: 'He noticed me and said: "Do you fear that I will kill him? I would never do that."' She said: 'When they gathered to kill him, he said to them: "Let me pray two rak'ahs."' She said: 'He prayed two rak'ahs and then said: "Were it not that you might think I am afraid, I would have prayed more."'
He said: Khubayb was the first to establish the practice of praying for one who is killed while being held captive. Then he said: 'O Allah, count their number, kill them one by one, and do not leave a single one of them.'
Then he said:
I do not care, as long as I am killed as a Muslim... in whatever way my death for the sake of Allah occurs.
That is for the sake of the Deity, and if He wills... He will bless the limbs of a torn body.
He said: The polytheists sent someone to 'Asim ibn Thabit to bring a piece of his flesh, as he had killed one of their leaders. But Allah (azwj) sent a swarm of hornets like a canopy, which protected him from their messengers, so they were unable to take any of his flesh."

Ai e kuptoi frikën time dhe tha: 'A mendon se do ta vras? Nuk do ta bëja kurrë këtë'.
