- حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا قَيْسٌ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ،
عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: «لَمَّا وَجَّهَ اللهُ ﷿
نَبِيَّهُ ﷺ إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ إِلَيْهَا، قَالُوا: كَيْفَ
بِمَنْ مَاتَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ؟
فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ ﷿: ﴿وَمَا كَانَ اللهُ لِيُضِيعَ إِيمَانَكُمْ﴾».

2795 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Qays narrated to us, from Simak, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: 'When Allah (the Mighty and Sublime) directed His Prophet (pbuh) towards the Ka'bah and praying towards it, they said: "What about those of our companions who died while they were praying towards Bayt al-Maqdis?" So Allah (the Mighty and Sublime) revealed: {And Allah would never let your faith go to waste}.'
2795 - Na ka treguar Ebu Davudi, i cili ka thënë: Na ka treguar Kajsi, nga Simaku, nga Ikrimeja, nga Ibn Abbasi, i cili ka thënë: «Kur Allahu i Madhëruar e drejtoi Pejgamberin e Tij (s.a.v.s.) drejt Qabesë dhe faljes drejt saj, ata (shokët e tij) thanë: 'Çfarë do të bëhet me ata që vdiqën nga shokët tanë ndërkohë që faleshin drejt Bejtul-Makdisit?' Atëherë Allahu i Madhëruar shpalli: ﴿Allahu nuk do t'ua humbë besimin tuaj﴾».
