٢٨١٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ، عَنْ لَيْثِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ - قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ : أَظُنُّهُ ابْنَ أَبِي بَشِيرٍ - عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «كَانَ يَتَفَاءَلُ وَلَا يَتَطَيَّرُ، وَيُعْجِبُهُ الِاسْمُ الْحَسَنُ».
#2813 2813 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Layth bin Abi Sulaym, from Abd al-Malik - Abu Dawud said: I think he is Ibn Abi Bashir - from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, that the Prophet (pbuh) used to take good omens and did not take bad omens, and he liked good names.
