#2817 2817 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, saying: Hammad bin Salamah narrated to us, from Ali bin Zayd, from Yusuf bin Mihran, from Ibn Abbas, who said: "When Uthman bin Maz'un passed away, his wife said: 'Congratulations to you, O son of Maz'un, on Paradise.' He said: The Messenger of Allah (saw) looked at her with an angry look. She said: 'O Messenger of Allah, he was your horseman and your companion.' He said: 'I do not know what will be done with him.' This was difficult for the companions of the Messenger of Allah (saw) to hear, as he was considered among the best of them, until Ruqayyah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (saw), passed away. Then the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'Join our righteous predecessor, Uthman bin Maz'un.' He said: And the women wept for Ruqayyah, so Umar began to forbid them or strike them. The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: 'Desist, O Umar.' He said: Then he said: 'Beware of the croaking of Satan; for whatever comes from the eye and the heart is from mercy, and whatever comes from the tongue and the hand is from Satan.' He said: And Fatimah, may Allah have mercy on her, began to weep at the edge of Ruqayyah's grave, so the Messenger of Allah (saw) began to wipe the tears from her face with his hand, or he said: with his garment."

Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: 'Bashkohu me paraardhësin tonë të mirë, Uthman bin Madh'unin.' Ai tha: Gratë qanë për Rukijen, ndërsa Omeri filloi t'i ndalonte ato ose t'i godiste. Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: 'Lëri, o Omer!'
