٢٨٦٤ - حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، قَالَ: «صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ وَأَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ شَابٌّ، فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْهَا فَاتِحَةَ الْكِتَابِ، فَلَمَّا صَلَّيْتُ جِئْتُ فَأَخَذْتُ بِيَدِهِ فَقُلْتُ: يَا أَبَا الْعَبَّاسِ، مَا هَذَا؟ قَالَ: هَذَا حَقٌّ وَسُنَّةٌ أَوْ قَالَ: سُنَّةٌ وَحَقٌّ».
#2864 2864 - Yunus narrated to us, he said: Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us, from Sa'd bin Ibrahim, he said: Talhah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Awf narrated to me, he said: "I prayed behind Ibn 'Abbas over a funeral while I was a young man at that time, and I heard him reciting the Opening of the Book (Al-Fatihah) over it. When I finished praying, I came and took him by his hand and said: 'O Abu al-'Abbas, what is this?' He said: 'This is right and Sunnah,' or he said: 'Sunnah and right.'"

«Fala namazin e xhenazes pas Ibn Abbasit kur isha i ri në atë kohë, dhe e dëgjova atë duke lexuar në të Fatihanë e Librit. Pasi u fala, erdha dhe e kapa për dore e i thashë: O Ebu el-Abbas, çfarë është kjo? Ai tha: Kjo është e vërtetë dhe sunet, ose tha: Sunet dhe e vërtetë».
