حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عُمَرُ ـ هُوَ ابْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ـ عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ وَعَدَ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم جِبْرِيلُ فَرَاثَ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى اشْتَدَّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَلَقِيَهُ، فَشَكَا إِلَيْهِ مَا وَجَدَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ
" إِنَّا لاَ نَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ صُورَةٌ وَلاَ كَلْبٌ ".

Narrated Salim's father:
Once Gabriel promised to visit the Prophet (ﷺ) but he delayed and the Prophet (ﷺ) got worried about that. At
last he came out and found Gabriel and complained to him of his grief (for his delay). Gabriel said to
him, "We do not enter a place in which there is a picture or a dog."
Transmeton Ibn Umari: Një herë Xhibrili i kishte premtuar Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.) se do ta vizitonte, por ai u vonua derisa kjo gjë u bë e rëndë për Pejgamberin (s.a.v.s.). Më pas, Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) doli jashtë dhe e takoi atë, duke iu ankuar për shqetësimin që kishte ndjerë. Xhibrili i tha: "Ne nuk hyjmë në një shtëpi në të cilën ka fotografi apo qen."
