أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَحْبُوبٌ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، قَالَ سُئِلَ الشَّعْبِيُّ عَنْ سَهْمِ النَّبِيِّ، صلى الله عليه وسلم وَصَفِيِّهِ فَقَالَ أَمَّا سَهْمُ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَكَسَهْمِ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَأَمَّا سَهْمُ الصَّفِيِّ فَغُرَّةٌ تُخْتَارُ مِنْ أَىِّ شَىْءٍ شَاءَ ‏.‏
#4155 It was narrated that Mutarrif said:
"Ash-Shabi was asked about the share of the Prophet and what he chose for himself. He said: 'The share of the Prophet was like the share of any Muslim man, and what he chose for himself was something precious; he chose whatever he wanted to."'

Transmeton Esh-Sha'biu: Ai u pyet rreth pjesës së Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.) dhe asaj që ai zgjidhte për vete (safiju). Ai tha: "Sa i përket pjesës së Pejgamberit (s.a.v.s.), ajo ishte si pjesa e çdo burri mysliman, ndërsa ajo që ai zgjidhte për vete ishte diçka e çmuar; ai zgjidhte çfarëdo që dëshironte."
