أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ خَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : دَخَلَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ الرَّحَبَةَ بَعْدَمَا صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ، فَجَلَسَ فِي الرَّحَبَةِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ لِغُلَامٍ لَهُ : ائْتِنِي بِطَهُورٍ، قَالَ : فَأَتَاهُ الْغُلَامُ بِإِنَاءٍ فِيهِ مَاءٌ وَطَسْتٍ، قَالَ عَبْدُ خَيْرٍ : وَنَحْنُ جُلُوسٌ نَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ " فَأَدْخَلَ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى فَمَلَأَ فَمَهُ، فَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ، وَنَثَرَ بِيَدِهِ الْيُسْرَى، فَعَلَ هَذَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ "، ثُمَّ قَالَ :" مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَى طُهُورِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَهَذَا طُهُورُهُ "، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ الْمُرَادِيُّ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ خَيْرٍ بِإِسْنَادِهِ نَحْوَهُ
#49 Abu al-Walid al-Tayalisi informed us, Zaidah narrated to us, Khalid bin Alqamah al-Hamdani narrated to us, Abd Khayr narrated to me, who said: Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) entered the courtyard after he had performed the Dawn prayer and sat in the courtyard. Then he said to a young servant of his: "Bring me water for purification." He said: So the servant brought him a vessel containing water and a basin. Abd Khayr said: And we were sitting watching him, "so he inserted his right hand and filled his mouth, then rinsed his mouth and inhaled water into his nose, and expelled it with his left hand. He did this three times." Then he said: "Whoever would be pleased to look at the purification of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), then this is his purification." Abu Nu'aym informed us, Hasan bin Uqbah al-Muradi narrated to us, Abd Khayr informed me with his chain of narrators similarly.

Transmeton Abd Hajri: Aliu (r.a.) hyri në shesh (Rahabe) pasi fali namazin e sabahut dhe u ul aty. Pastaj i tha shërbëtorit të tij: "Më sill ujë për abdest." Shërbëtori i solli një enë me ujë dhe një legen. Abd Hajri tha: "Ne ishim ulur duke e shikuar atë." Ai futi dorën e tij të djathtë, mori ujë, shpëlau gojën dhe hundën, dhe e pastroi hundën me dorën e majtë. Këtë e bëri tri herë. Pastaj tha: "Kush dëshiron të shohë se si merrte abdest i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), ky është abdesti i tij."
