أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاق بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : دَخَلَتْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُمُّ سُلَيْمٍ وَعِنْدَهُ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ ، فَقَالَتْ : الْمَرْأَةُ تَرَى فِي مَنَامِهَا مَا يَرَى الرَّجُلُ؟، فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ : تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكِ يَا أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ فَضَحْتِ النِّسَاءَ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" مُنْتَصِرًا لِأُمِّ سُلَيْمٍ بَلْ أَنْتِ تَرِبَتْ يَدَاكِ، إِنَّ خَيْرَكُنَّ الَّتِي تَسْأَلُ عَمَّا يَعْنِيهَا، إِذَا رَأَتْ الْمَاءَ فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ "، قَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ : وَلِلنِّسَاءِ مَاءٌ؟، قَالَ : " نَعَمْ، فَأَنَّى يُشْبِهُهُنَّ الْوَلَدُ؟ إِنَّمَا هُنَّ شَقَائِقُ الرِّجَالِ "
#110 Muhammad ibn Kathir informed us, from al-Awza’i, from Ishaq ibn ‘Abdullah ibn Abi Talha, from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: Umm Sulaym entered upon the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) while Umm Salama was with him, and she asked: "Does a woman see in her sleep what a man sees?" Umm Salama said: "May your hands be rubbed with dust, O Umm Sulaym! You have disgraced the women." So the Prophet (pbuh) said, in defense of Umm Sulaym: "Rather, may your hands be rubbed with dust! Indeed, the best of you is she who asks about what concerns her. If she sees the fluid, let her perform a ritual bath." Umm Salama asked: "And do women have fluid?" He replied: "Yes, for how else does the child resemble them? Indeed, women are but the full counterparts of men."

Transmeton Enesi: Ummu Sulejmi hyri te i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) kur pranë tij ishte Ummu Seleme dhe e pyeti: "A sheh gruaja në ëndërr atë që sheh burri?" Ummu Seleme tha: "U pluhurofshin duart e tua, o Ummu Sulejm, i turpërove gratë!" Atëherë Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha, duke mbrojtur Ummu Sulejmin: "Përkundrazi, ty t'u pluhurofshin duart! Vërtet, më e mira prej jush është ajo që pyet për gjërat që i interesojnë. Nëse ajo sheh lagështi, le të marrë gusël." Ummu Seleme pyeti: "A kanë edhe gratë lëng?" Ai tha: "Po, sepse përndryshe si do t'u ngjante fëmija atyre? Vërtet, gratë janë gjysmat e burrave."
