#131 Aswad ibn ‘Amir informed us, Shu‘bah narrated to us, from ‘Ammar, the freed slave of Banu Hashim, from Ibn ‘Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding the woman experiencing prolonged vaginal bleeding: "She should abandon prayer during the days of her menstrual cycles, then perform a ritual bath, then apply an absorbent cloth and bind it tightly, then she prays." A man asked: "Even if it is flowing?" He replied: "Even if it is flowing like this waterspout."
