Muhammad ibn ‘Isa informed us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Sa‘id, from the freedwoman of ‘Amrah, who said: "‘Amrah used to command the women not to perform the ritual bath (ghusl) until the cotton comes out white."
