#332 Sahl bin Hammad informed us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Sayyar, from Abu Wa'il, who said: It used to be said: "The person in a state of major ritual impurity is not to recite, nor is the menstruating woman, and it is not to be recited in the bathhouse. There are two situations in which the servant does not mention Allah: when relieving oneself and during sexual intercourse, except that when a man approaches his wife, he begins by mentioning the name of Allah."
