أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ : أَنَّ الْيَهُودَ كَانُوا إِذَا حَاضَتْ الْمَرْأَةُ فِيهِمْ لَمْ يُؤَاكِلُوهَا، وَلَمْ يُشَارِبُوهَا، وَأَخْرَجُوهَا مِنْ الْبَيْتِ، وَلَمْ تَكُنْ مَعَهُمْ فِي الْبُيُوتِ، فَسُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى # وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْمَحِيضِ قُلْ هُوَ أَذًى سورة البقرة آية 222 #، فَأَمَرَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" أَنْ يُؤَاكِلُوهُنَّ، وَأَنْ يُشَارِبُوهُنَّ، وَأَنْ يَكُنَّ مَعَهُمْ فِي الْبُيُوتِ، وَأَنْ يَفْعَلُوا كُلَّ شَيْءٍ مَا خَلَا النِّكَاحَ "، فَقَالَتْ الْيَهُودُ : مَا يُرِيدُ هَذَا أَنْ يَدَعَ شَيْئًا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا إِلَّا خَالَفَنَا فِيهِ، فَجَاءَ عَبَّادُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، وَأُسَيْدُ بْنُ حُضَيْرٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرَاهُ بِذَلِكَ، وَقَالَا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَفَلَا نَنْكِحُهُنَّ فِي الْمَحِيضِ؟ " فَتَمَعَّرَ وَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَمَعُّرًا شَدِيدًا حَتَّى ظَنَنَّا أَنَّهُ وَجَدَ عَلَيْهِمَا، فَقَامَا، فَخَرَجَا "، هَدِيَّةُ لَبَنٍ " فَبَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي آثَارِهِمَا فَرَدَّهُمَا فَسَقَاهُمَا "، فَعَلِمْنَا أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَغْضَبْ عَلَيْهِمَا
#387 Sulayman ibn Harb informed us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): That among the Jews, when a woman among them menstruated, they would not eat with her, nor would they drink with her, and they would turn her out of the house, and she would not stay with them in the houses. The Prophet (pbuh) was asked about that, so Allah the Exalted revealed: {And they ask you about menstruation. Say, "It is harm..."} [Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 222]. Then the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) commanded them to eat with them, to drink with them, and to stay with them in the houses, and to do everything except for sexual intercourse. The Jews said: "This man does not intend to leave any of our matters without opposing us in it." Then Abbad ibn Bishr and Usayd ibn Hudayr (may Allah be pleased with both of them) came to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) and informed him of that, and they said: "O Messenger of Allah, should we then not have intercourse with them during menstruation?" Thereupon, the face of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) changed color severely until we thought he was angry with them. So they stood up and left. Then a gift of milk arrived, and the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) sent after them, following their tracks, and he called them back and gave them to drink. Thus we knew that he was not angry with them.

Transmeton Enesi: Hebrenjtë, kur gratë e tyre kishin menstruacione, nuk hanin me to, nuk pinin me to dhe i nxirrnin ato nga shtëpia, duke mos qëndruar me to në të njëjtën banesë. Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) u pyet për këtë, kështu që Allahu i Lartësuar shpalli: "Të pyesin ty për menstruacionin. Thuaj: 'Ajo është gjendje e dëmshme...'" (el-Bekare: 222). Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) i urdhëroi ata që të hanin me to, të pinin me to, të qëndronin me to në shtëpi dhe të bënin çdo gjë tjetër përveç marrëdhënieve seksuale. Hebrenjtë thanë: "Ky njeri nuk dëshiron të lërë asnjë nga çështjet tona pa na kundërshtuar në të." Pastaj Abbad ibn Bishri dhe Usejd ibn Hudajri erdhën tek i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) dhe e njoftuan për këtë, duke thënë: "O i Dërguari i Allahut, a nuk duhet të kryejmë marrëdhënie me to gjatë menstruacioneve?" Atëherë fytyra e të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ndryshoi aq fort saqë menduam se ai ishte i zemëruar me ta. Ata u ngritën dhe u larguan, por ndërkohë erdhi një dhuratë me qumësht. I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) dërgoi dikë pas tyre për t'i thirrur dhe u dha atyre të pinin, kështu që e kuptuam se ai nuk ishte i zemëruar me ta.
