#426 Affan informed us, Abu ‘Awanah narrated to us, on the authority of Qatadah, on the authority of Abu Mijlaz, on the authority of Ibn ‘Abbas, may Allah be pleased with them both, who said: "Our women used to apply henna at night, and when they reached the morning, they would remove it, perform ablution, and pray. Then they would apply henna after the prayer, and when it was time for the Dhuhr prayer, they would remove it, perform ablution, and pray, thus achieving a beautiful henna color; and it does not prevent the prayer."
