#451 Muslim bin Ibrahim informed us, saying Wuhayb narrated to us, saying Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khuthaym narrated to us, from Ibn Sabit, who said: I asked Hafsah bint Abdur-Rahman—he is the son of Abu Bakr—I said to her: "I intend to ask you about something, but I am shy to ask you about it." She said: "Ask, O my nephew, about whatever occurs to you." He said: "I ask you about approaching women in their rears." She said: Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated to me, saying: "The Ansar would not practice tujabbi (approaching the wife from behind into the vagina), while the Muhajirun would practice tujabbi. A man from the Muhajirun married a woman from the Ansar and he practiced tujabbi with her, but the Ansari woman refused. She came to Umm Salamah and mentioned that to her. When the Prophet (pbuh) arrived, the Ansari woman felt shy and left. Umm Salamah mentioned that to the Prophet (pbuh), and he said: 'Call her for me.' So she was called to him, and he said to her: 'Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth however you wish [Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 223], through a single orifice.' And al-simam means: the single path."
