أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَنْبَأنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتَوَائِيُّ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ عِيسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ قَالَ : دَخَلْنَا عَلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ فَنَادَى الْمُنَادِي، فَقَالَ :" اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ : اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، قَالَ : أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَه إِلَّا اللَّهُ، قَالَ : وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، قَالَ : أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، قَالَ : وَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ "
#529 Yazid bin Harun told us, Hisham ad-Dastawa'i informed us, from Yahya, from Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin al-Harith, from 'Isa bin Talha, who said: We entered upon Mu'awiyah and the caller called out, saying: "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest." Mu'awiyah said: "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest." The caller said: "I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah." Mu'awiyah said: "And I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah." The caller said: "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah (pbuh)." Mu'awiyah said: "And I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah (pbuh)."

Transmeton Isa ibn Talha: Hymë te Muaviu kur thirrësi thirri ezanin. Ai tha: "Allahu ekber, Allahu ekber", e Muaviu tha: "Allahu ekber, Allahu ekber". Ai tha: "Eshhedu en la ilahe il-lallah", e Muaviu tha: "Edhe unë dëshmoj se nuk ka zot tjetër përveç Allahut". Ai tha: "Eshhedu enne Muhemmeden Resulullah", e Muaviu tha: "Edhe unë dëshmoj se Muhamedi është i dërguari i Allahut".
