أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : قِيلَ : " يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِينَ مَاتُوا وَهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ ؟فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى : # وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُضِيعَ إِيمَانَكُمْ سورة البقرة آية 143 # "
#561 Ubayd Allah ibn Musa informed us, from Isra'il, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: It was said: "O Messenger of Allah (pbuh), what do you think of those who died while they were praying towards Jerusalem (Bayt al-Maqdis)?" So Allah the Exalted revealed: "And Allah would never let your faith go to waste" [Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 143].

Transmeton Ibn Abbasi: U pyet: "O i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), si është puna e atyre që kanë vdekur duke falur namazin në drejtim të Jerusalemit (Bejtul Makdis)?" Atëherë Allahu i Madhëruar shpalli: "Allahu nuk do t’ua humbë besimin tuaj" (El-Bekare, 143).
