أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَمِّهْ الْمَاجِشُونَ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ، كَبَّرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ :" وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا، وَمَا أَنَا مِنْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ، إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَبِذَلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ.
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْمَلِكُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَنْتَ رَبِّي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَاعْتَرَفْتُ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي جَمِيعًا، لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، وَاهْدِنِي لِأَحْسَنِ الْأَخْلَاقِ لَا يَهْدِي لِأَحْسَنِهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ، وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّي سَيِّئَهَا لَا يَصْرِفُ سَيِّئَهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ.
لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ وَالْخَيْرُ كُلُّهُ فِي يَدَيْكَ، وَالشَّرُّ لَيْسَ إِلَيْكَ، أَنَا بِكَ وَإِلَيْكَ، تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ "

Yahya bin Hassan informed us, Abd al-Aziz bin Abdullah bin Abi Salama narrated to us, from his uncle al-Majishun, from al-A'raj, from Ubaydullah bin Abi Rafi', from Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: When the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) began the prayer, he would say the Takbir and then say: "I have turned my face towards Him who created the heavens and the earth, as a monotheist, and I am not of the polytheists. Indeed, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds, no partner has He. With this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims. O Allah, You are the King, there is no deity except You. You are my Lord and I am Your servant. I have wronged myself and acknowledged my sin, so forgive me all my sins, for none forgives sins except You. Guide me to the best of manners, for none guides to the best of them except You. And turn away from me the worst of them, for none turns away the worst of them except You. At Your service and at Your command, and all good is in Your hands, and evil is not attributed to You. I exist by You and return to You. Blessed are You and Exalted. I seek Your forgiveness and I repent to You."
Transmeton Aliu (r.a.): Kur i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) e fillonte namazin, merrte tekbir e pastaj thoshte: "Drejtoj fytyrën time drejt Atij që krijoi qiejt dhe tokën, duke qenë besimtar i vërtetë, dhe unë nuk jam nga idhujtarët. Vërtet, namazi im, kurbani im, jeta ime dhe vdekja ime janë për Allahun, Zotin e botëve, i Cili nuk ka ortak. Për këtë jam urdhëruar dhe unë jam i pari i muslimanëve. O Allah, Ti je Sundimtari, nuk ka zot tjetër përveç Teje. Ti je Zoti im dhe unë jam robi Yt. I kam bërë padrejtësi vetes sime dhe i pranoj mëkatet e mia, andaj m'i fal të gjitha mëkatet e mia, sepse askush nuk i fal mëkatet përveç Teje. Më udhëzo drejt moralit më të mirë, sepse askush nuk mund të udhëzojë drejt tij përveç Teje. Largoji prej meje veset e këqija, sepse askush nuk mund t'i largojë ato përveç Teje. Të përgjigjem Ty me bindje e përulësi, i tërë hajri është në duart e Tua dhe e keqja nuk të përshkruhet Ty. Unë ekzistoj nëpërmjet Teje dhe Te Ti kthehem. Ti je i Bekuar dhe i Lartësuar. Kërkoj falje prej Teje dhe kthehem te Ti me pendim."
