أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ ، قَالَ : اجْتَمَعَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، وَأَبُو أُسَيْدٍ، وَأَبُو حُمَيْدٍ، وَسَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، فَذَكَرُوا صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ : أَنَا أَعْلَمُكُمْ بِصَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" قَامَ فَكَبَّرَ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حِينَ كَبَّرَ لِلرُّكُوعِ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ وَوَضَعَ يَدَيْهِ عَلَى رُكْبَتَيْهِ كَأَنَّهُ قَابِضٌ عَلَيْهِمَا، وَوَتَرَ يَدَيْهِ فَنَحَّاهُمَا عَنْ جَنْبَيْهِ، وَلَمْ يُصَوِّبْ رَأْسَهُ، وَلَمْ يُقْنِعْهُ "

Ishaq ibn Ibrahim informed us, Abu ‘Amir al-‘Aqadi narrated to us, Fulayh ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from ‘Abbas ibn Sahl, who said: Muhammad ibn Maslamah, Abu Usayd, Abu Humayd, and Sahl ibn Sa‘d gathered and discussed the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh). Abu Humayd said: "I am the most knowledgeable among you concerning the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh). Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) stood and proclaimed the Takbir and raised his hands, then he raised his hands when he proclaimed the Takbir for the bowing. Then he bowed and placed his hands upon his knees as if he were grasping them, and he arched his arms, distancing them from his sides, and he neither lowered his head nor raised it excessively."
Transmeton Ebu Humejdi: U mblodhën Muhamed ibn Meslemeja, Ebu Usejdi, Ebu Humejdi dhe Sehl ibn Sa'di dhe biseduan për namazin e të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.). Ebu Humejdi tha: "Unë jam ai që e njeh më së miri prej jush namazin e të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.). I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) u ngrit, mori tekbirin dhe i ngriti duart. Pastaj i ngriti duart kur mori tekbirin për ruku. Më pas ra në ruku dhe i vendosi duart mbi gjunjët e tij sikur t'i mbante ata fort, i largoi krahët nga anët e trupit, nuk e uli kokën poshtë dhe as nuk e ngriti lart."
