أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ، رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ، فَإِذَا رَكَعَ، فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ، فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، وَقَالَ :" سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ، اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ "، وَلَا يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ فِي السُّجُودِ. أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، أَنْبأَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مِثْلَهُ. إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ "
#630 Khalid bin Makhlad informed us, Malik narrated to us, from Ibn Shihab, from Salim, from his father, who said: When the Prophet (pbuh) commenced the prayer, he raised his hands level with his shoulders; when he performed the bowing, he did the same; and when he raised his head from the bowing, he did the same and said: "Allah hears whoever praises Him; O Allah, our Lord, and to You belongs all praise." And he would not do that in the prostration.
Uthman bin Umar informed us, Malik bin Anas informed us, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from Ibn Umar, from the Prophet (pbuh), a similar narration, except that he said: "Our Lord, and to You belongs all praise."

Transmeton Ibn Umari: Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.), kur e fillonte namazin, i ngrinte duart deri në nivel të shpatullave. Kur binte në ruku, vepronte në të njëjtën mënyrë, si dhe kur e ngrinte kokën nga rukuja, duke thënë: "Sami'allahu liman hamidah, Allahumma Rabbana wa lakal-hamd". Mirëpo, ai nuk e bënte këtë gjatë sexhdes.
