Ya'la bin 'Ubayd informed us, al-A'mash related to us, from 'Umarah—who is Ibn 'Umayr—from Abu Ma'mar, from Abu Mas'ud, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "A prayer in which a man does not straighten his back during bowing and prostration is not valid."
