حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ ، وَأَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَخْبَرَاهُ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي جِدَارِ الْمَسْجِدِ، فَتَنَاوَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَصَاةً وَحَتَّهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ :" إِذَا تَنَخَّمَ أَحَدُكُمْ، فَلَا يَتَنَخَّمَنَّ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ، وَلَا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، وَلْيَبْصُقْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ أَوْ تَحْتَ قَدَمِهِ "

Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Sa'd narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, from Humayd ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, that Abu Sa'id and Abu Hurayrah informed him that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) saw phlegm on the wall of the mosque, so the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) took a pebble and scraped it off, then he said: "When one of you expectorates, he should not expectorate in front of him nor to his right, but let him spit to his left or under his foot."
Transmetojnë Ebu Saidi dhe Ebu Hurejra: I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) pa një gëlbazë në murin e xhamisë. Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) mori një guralec dhe e fshiu atë, pastaj tha: "Kur dikush prej jush pështyn, të mos pështyjë para vetes e as në të djathtë të tij, por të pështyjë në të majtë ose nën këmbën e tij."
