حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ خَالِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق الْفَزَارِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ أَبِيتُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لِي أَهْلٌ، فَرَأَيْتُ فِي الْمَنَامِ كَأَنَّمَا انْطُلِقَ بِي إِلَى بِئْرٍ فِيهَا رِجَالٌ مُعَلَّقُونَ، فَقِيلَ : انْطَلِقُوا بِهِ إِلَى ذَاتِ الْيَمِينِ.
فَذَكَرْتُ الرُّؤْيَا لِحَفْصَةَ ، فَقُلْتُ : قُصِّيهَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَصَّتْهَا عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ : " مَنْ رَأَى هَذِهِ؟ قَالَتْ : ابْنُ عُمَرَ.
فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " نِعْمَ الْفَتَى أَوْ قَالَ : نِعْمَ الرَّجُلُلَوْ كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنْ اللَّيْلِ ".
قَالَ : وَكُنْتُ إِذَا نِمْتُ لَمْ أَقُمْ حَتَّى أُصْبِحَ.
قَالَ : فَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يُصَلِّي اللَّيْلَ

Musa bin Khalid narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq al-Fazari, from 'Ubayd Allah bin 'Umar, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar, who said: I used to spend the night in the mosque and I had no family. I saw in a dream as if I were taken to a well in which there were men suspended, and it was said: "Take him to the right." I mentioned the vision to Hafsa and said: "Relate it to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh)." So she related it to him, and he asked: "Who saw this?" She said: "Ibn 'Umar." Then the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "What an excellent youth—or he said: what an excellent man—he would be if he prayed during the night." He said: And I used to sleep and not rise until the morning. He said: Thereafter, Ibn 'Umar would pray during the night.
Transmeton Ibn Omeri: E kisha zakon të flija në xhami pasi nuk kisha familje. Pashë në ëndërr sikur më dërguan te një pus ku kishte burra të varur, dhe u tha: "Dërgojeni atë në krahun e djathtë." Ia tregova këtë ëndërr Hafsës dhe i thashë: "Tregoja këtë të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.)." Ajo ia tregoi atij, dhe ai pyeti: "Kush e ka parë këtë?" Ajo u përgjigj: "Ibn Omeri." Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Sa djalosh i mirë (apo burrë i mirë) do të ishte, sikur të falte Namaz nate." Ibn Omeri tha: "Deri atëherë, kur flija, nuk zgjohesha derisa gdhinte mëngjesi." Pas kësaj, Ibn Omeri falte Namaz nate.
