حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ هُوَ ابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلِ ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَامَ يَتَهَجَّدُ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ قَالَ :" اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ، أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ، أَنْتَ قَيُّومُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ، أَنْتَ مَلِكُ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ، وَقَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ، وَوَعْدُكَ الْحَقُّ، وَلِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ، وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ، وَالْبَعْثُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّبِيُّونَ حَقٌّ، وَمُحَمَّدٌّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَقٌّ.
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ، أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ "

Yahya ibn Hassan narrated to us, Sufyan—he is Ibn 'Uyaynah—narrated to us, from Sulayman al-Ahwal, from Tawus, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: When the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) stood to perform the late night prayer (Tahajjud), he would say: "O Allah, to You belongs all praise; You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and whosoever is in them. To You belongs all praise; You are the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and whosoever is in them. To You belongs all praise; You are the King of the heavens and the earth and whosoever is in them. You are the Truth, Your word is the truth, Your promise is the truth, the meeting with You is true, Paradise is true, the Fire is true, the Resurrection is true, the Prophets are true, and Muhammad (pbuh) is true. O Allah, to You I have submitted, in You I have believed, upon You I have relied, to You I have turned, by You I have contended, and to You I have referred for judgment. So forgive me for what I have sent forth and what I have delayed, and what I have declared and what I have concealed. You are the Advancer and You are the Delayer; there is no deity except You, and there is no power or strength except by You."
Transmeton Ibn Abbasi: Kur i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ngrihej natën për të falur namazin e tehexhudit, lutej: "O Allah, Ty të takon falënderimi, Ti je Drita e qiejve, e tokës dhe e çdo gjëje që gjendet në to. Ty të takon falënderimi, Ti je Mbajtësi i qiejve, i tokës dhe i çdo gjëje që gjendet në to. Ty të takon falënderimi, Ti je Sunduesi i qiejve, i tokës dhe i çdo gjëje që gjendet në to. Ti je e Vërteta, fjala Jote është e vërtetë, premtimi Yt është i vërtetë, takimi me Ty është i vërtetë, Xheneti është i vërtetë, Zjarri është i vërtetë, ringjallja është e vërtetë, pejgamberët janë të vërtetë dhe Muhamedi (s.a.v.s.) është i vërtetë. O Allah, Ty të jam dorëzuar, Ty të kam besuar, tek Ti jam mbështetur, tek Ti jam penduar, me ndihmën Tënde kam debatuar dhe tek Ti jam drejtuar për gjykim. Më fal gjynahet e mia të shkuara dhe ato të ardhshmet, ato që i kam bërë fshehurazi dhe ato që i kam bërë haptazi. Ti je Ai që i lartëson dhe Ti je Ai që i ul. Nuk ka zot tjetër përveç Teje dhe nuk ka asnjë lëvizje e as forcë pa ndihmën Tënde."
