#910 Uthman ibn 'Umar narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Burayd ibn Abi Maryam, from Abu al-Hawra' al-Sa'di, who said: I said to al-Hasan ibn 'Ali: "What do you remember from the Messenger of Allah (pbuh)?" He said: "He carried me on his shoulder, and I took a date from the charity dates and put it in my mouth. Then he said to me: 'Cast it away; did you not realize that charity is not permissible for us?'"
