حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَيْفِيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا بَعَثَ مُعَاذًا إِلَى الْيَمَنِ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّكَتَأْتِي قَوْمًا أَهْلَ كِتَابٍ ، فَادْعُهُمْ إِلَى أَنْ يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، فَإِنْ أَطَاعُوا لَكَ فِي ذَلِكَ، فَأَخْبِرْهُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ فَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ خَمْسَ صَلَوَاتٍ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ، فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوا لَكَ فِي ذَلِكَ، فَأَخْبِرْهُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ فَرَضَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَدَقَةً فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ، تُؤْخَذُ مِنْ أَغْنِيَائِهِمْ وَتُرَدُّ عَلَى فُقَرَائِهِمْ، فَإِنْ هُمْ أَطَاعُوا لَكَ فِي ذَلِكَ، فَإِيَّاكَ وَكَرَائِمَ أَمْوَالِهِمْ، وَإِيَّاكَ وَدَعْوَةَ الْمَظْلُومِ، فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَهَا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ حِجَابٌ "
#930 Abu ‘Asim narrated to us, from Zakariyya bin Ishaq, from Yahya bin ‘Abdullah bin Sayfi, from Abi Ma‘bad, from Ibn ‘Abbas: that the Prophet (pbuh) when he sent Mu‘adh to Yemen, he said: "Verily, you are coming to a people from the People of the Book, so invite them to testify that there is no deity but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. If they obey you in that, then inform them that Allah has obligated upon them five prayers during every day and night. If they obey you in that, then inform them that Allah has obligated upon them charity in their wealth, to be taken from their rich and given to their poor. If they obey you in that, then beware of taking the most precious of their possessions, and beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for indeed, there is no barrier between it and Allah."

Transmeton Ibn Abbasi: Kur Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) e dërgoi Muadhin në Jemen, i tha: "Ti po shkon te një popull që janë Ithtarë të Librit, andaj ftoji ata të dëshmojnë se nuk ka zot tjetër përveç Allahut dhe se Muhamedi është i Dërguari i Allahut. Nëse ata i binden kësaj, atëherë informoji se Allahu ua ka bërë obligim pesë kohë namazi gjatë çdo dite dhe nate. Nëse ata i binden kësaj, atëherë informoji se Allahu ua ka bërë obligim sadakanë nga pasuria e tyre, e cila merret nga të pasurit e tyre dhe u jepet të varfërve të tyre. Nëse ata i binden kësaj, atëherë ruju nga marrja e pjesës më të çmuar të pasurisë së tyre dhe ruju nga lutja e të shtypurit, sepse mes saj dhe Allahut nuk ka asnjë perde."
