أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ دُحَيْمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّهُ لَمَّا رَضِيَ عَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّ مِنْ تَوْبَتِي أَنْ أَهْجُرَ دَارَ قَوْمِي، وَأُسَاكِنَكَ، وَأَنْخَلِعَ مِنْ مَالِي صَدَقَةً لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" يُجْزِي عَنْكَ الثُّلُثُ "
#968 Abd al-Rahman bin Ibrahim al-Dimashqi Duhaym informed us, Sa'id bin Maslamah narrated to us, from Isma'il bin Umayyah, from al-Zuhri, from Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Lubabah, that Abu Lubabah informed him: that when the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) was pleased with him, he said: "O Messenger of Allah, indeed part of my repentance is that I abandon the home of my people and reside with you, and that I divest myself of my wealth as charity for Allah and His Messenger." The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "One-third is sufficient for you."

Transmeton Ebu Lubabe: Kur i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) u nda i kënaqur me të (pasi ia pranoi pendimin), ai tha: "O i Dërguari i Allahut, pjesë e pendimit tim është të braktis vendbanimin e popullit tim, të banoj pranë teje dhe ta jap të gjithë pasurinë time sadaka për Allahun dhe të Dërguarin e Tij." I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Mjafton të japësh një të tretën e saj."
