Al-Hakam bin al-Mubarak informed us, Malik informed us, on the authority of Zayd bin Aslam, on the authority of 'Amr bin Mu'adh al-Ashhali, on the authority of his grandmother who was called Hawwa', she said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "O Muslim women, let none of you belittle [a gift] for her neighbor, even if it be a charred sheep's trotter."
