حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللهِ عَنْهُمَا، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ رَمَضَانَ، فَقَالَ :" لَا تَصُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْا الْهِلَالَ، وَلَا تُفْطِرُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْهُ، فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ، فَاقْدُرُوا لَهُ "
#991 Ubayd Allah ibn 'Abd al-Majid narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, from Nafi', from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) mentioned Ramadan and said: "Do not fast until you see the crescent moon, and do not break your fast until you see it; and if it is obscured from you, then estimate its duration."

Transmeton Ibn Umari (r.a.): I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) e përmendi Ramazanin dhe tha: "Mos agjëroni derisa ta shihni hënën e re dhe mos e prishni agjërimin derisa ta shihni atë. E nëse është vranët (dhe nuk e shihni), atëherë llogariteni atë."
