#1034 Abd al-Samad ibn Abd al-Warith informed us, my father narrated to me, Husayn al-Mu'allim narrated to me, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from al-Awza'i, from Ya'ish ibn al-Walid, from his father, from Ma'dan ibn Abi Talhah, from Abu al-Darda', that the Prophet (pbuh) vomited and then broke his fast. He said: Then I met Thawban in the mosque of Damascus and mentioned that to him, and he said: He has spoken the truth; I was the one who poured the water for his ablution.
