Muhammad narrated to us, Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to me, from al-Zuhri, from al-Hasan and ‘Abdullah, from their father, who said: I heard ‘Ali saying to Ibn ‘Abbas: “Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) forbade Mut‘ah—the temporary marriage with women—and the consumption of the meat of domestic donkeys in the year of Khaybar.”
