حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْأَمَةِ تَزْنِي وَلَمْ تُحْصَنْ، فَقَالَ :" إِنْ زَنَتْ، فَاجْلِدُوهَا، ثُمَّ إِنْ زَنَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا ". قَالَ : فَمَا أَدْرِي فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوْ فِي الرَّابِعَةِ " فَبِيعُوهَا وَلَوْ بِضَفِيرٍ "
#1603 Khalid ibn Makhlad narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, from Ibn Shihab, from 'Ubaydullah ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Utbah, from Zayd ibn Khalid al-Juhani and Abu Hurayrah: that the Prophet (pbuh) was asked about a slave-girl who commits adultery and has not been married. He said: "If she commits adultery, lash her, then if she commits adultery, lash her." He said: I do not know whether it was at the third or the fourth time: "then sell her, even if for a strand of braided hair."

Transmetojnë Zejd bin Halid el-Xhuheniu dhe Ebu Hurejre: Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) u pyet rreth skllaves që bën zina pa qenë e martuar, e ai tha: "Nëse ajo bën zina, fshikullojeni atë, pastaj nëse bën zina përsëri, fshikullojeni përsëri." (Transmetuesi) tha: Nuk e di nëse ishte në herën e tretë apo të katërt kur ai tha: "Atëherë shiteni atë, qoftë edhe për një litar."
