أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْنَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَرْوَاحِ الشُّهَدَاءِ، وَلَوْلَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ لَمْ يُحَدِّثْنَا أَحَدٌ، قَالَ :" أَرْوَاحُ الشُّهَدَاءِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِي حَوَاصِلِ طَيْرٍ خُضْرٍ، لَهَا قَنَادِيلُ مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِالْعَرْشِ، تَسْرَحُ فِي أَيِّ الْجَنَّةِ شَاءُوا ثُمَّ تَرْجِعُ إِلَى قَنَادِيلِهَا فَيُشْرِفُ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ، فَيَقُولُ : أَلَكُمْ حَاجَةٌ؟. تُرِيدُونَ شَيْئًا؟، فَيَقُولُونَ : لَا، إِلَّا أَنْ نَرْجِعَ إِلَى الدُّنْيَا فَنُقْتَلَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى "
#1686 Sa'id bin 'Amir informed us, from Shu'bah, from Sulayman, from 'Abdullah bin Murrah, from Masruq, who said: We asked 'Abdullah about the souls of the martyrs—and were it not for 'Abdullah, no one would have narrated this to us—he said: "The souls of the martyrs are with Allah on the Day of Resurrection in the craws of green birds, having lanterns suspended from the Throne, roaming freely in Paradise wherever they wish, then returning to their lanterns. Then their Lord looks down upon them and says: 'Do you have any need? Do you desire anything?' They say: 'No, except that we return to the worldly life and be killed once more.'"

Transmeton Masruqi: E pyetëm Abdullahun për shpirtrat e dëshmorëve, e ai tha: "Shpirtrat e dëshmorëve te Allahu në Ditën e Kiametit janë në barqet e zogjve të gjelbër, të cilët kanë kandila të varur në Arsh. Ata fluturojnë nëpër Xhenet kudo që dëshirojnë, pastaj kthehen te kandilat e tyre. Atëherë Zoti i tyre i vështron dhe i pyet: 'A keni ndonjë nevojë? A dëshironi diçka?' Ata thonë: 'Jo, përveçse të kthehemi në këtë botë që të vritemi edhe një herë tjetër'."
