أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : هُوَ الصَّدَفِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُثَنَّى الْأُمْلُوكِيِّ ، عَنْ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ عَبْدٍ السُّلَمِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" الْقَتْلَى ثَلَاثَةٌ : مُؤْمِنٌ جَاهَدَ بِنَفْسِهِ وَمَالِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، إِذَا لَقِيَ الْعَدُوَّ، قَاتَلَ حَتَّى يُقْتَلَ ". قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهِ : " فَذَلِكَ الشَّهِيدُ الْمُمْتَحَنُ فِي خَيْمَةِ اللَّهِ، تَحْتَ عَرْشِهِ، لَا يَفْضُلُهُ النَّبِيُّونَ إِلَّا بِدَرَجَةِ النُّبُوَّةِ وَمُؤْمِنٌ خَلَطَ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا وَآخَرَ سَيِّئًا، جَاهَدَ بِنَفْسِهِ وَمَالِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، إِذَا لَقِيَ الْعَدُوَّ قَاتَلَ حَتَّى يُقْتَلَ ". قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيهِ : " مَصْمَصَةٌ مَحَتْ ذُنُوبَهُ وَخَطَايَاهُ، إِنَّ السَّيْفَ مَحَّاءٌ لِلْخَطَايَا، وَأُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أَيِّ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ شَاءَ. وَمُنَافِقٌ جَاهَدَ بِنَفْسِهِ وَمَالِهِ، فَإِذَا لَقِيَ الْعَدُوَّ قَاتَلَ حَتَّى يُقْتَلَ، فَذَاكَ فِي النَّارِ، إِنَّ السَّيْفَ لَا يَمْحُو النِّفَاقَ ". قَالَ عَبْد اللَّهِ : يُقَالُ لِلثَّوْبِ إِذَا غُسِلَ : مُصْمِصَ
#1687 Muhammad ibn al-Mubarak informed us, Mu'awiyah ibn Yahya narrated to us, he said: He is al-Sadafi, he said: Safwan ibn 'Amr narrated to us, from Abu al-Muthanna al-Umluki, from 'Utbah ibn 'Abd al-Sulami, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "The slain are of three types: A believer who strove with his life and his wealth in the cause of Allah, so when he met the enemy, he fought until he was killed." The Prophet (pbuh) said concerning him: "That is the tested martyr in the pavilion of Allah, beneath His Throne; the Prophets do not excel him except by the degree of Prophethood. And a believer who mixed a righteous deed with another that was evil, who strove with his life and his wealth in the cause of Allah, so when he met the enemy, he fought until he was killed." The Prophet (pbuh) said concerning him: "A cleansing that erased his sins and his errors; indeed, the sword is a great eraser of errors, and he is admitted to Paradise through whichever of the gates of Paradise he wills. And a hypocrite who strove with his life and his wealth, so when he met the enemy, he fought until he was killed; that one is in the Fire, for indeed the sword does not erase hypocrisy."

Transmeton Utbe bin Abdi es-Sulemij se i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) ka thënë: "Të vrarët janë tre llojesh: Një besimtar që ka bërë xhihad me veten dhe pasurinë e tij në rrugë të Allahut, e kur është ballafaquar me armikun, ka luftuar derisa është vrarë." Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha për të: "Ky është shehidi i sprovuar në tendën e Allahut, nën Arshin e Tij; pejgamberët nuk kanë epërsi ndaj tij, përveç me shkallën e pejgamberisë." (Vazhdoi): "Dhe një besimtar që ka përzier një vepër të mirë me një tjetër të keqe, i cili ka bërë xhihad me veten dhe pasurinë e tij në rrugë të Allahut, e kur është ballafaquar me armikun, ka luftuar derisa është vrarë." Pejgamberi (s.a.v.s.) tha për të: "Ky është një pastrim që ia ka fshirë gjynahet dhe gabimet e tij, sepse shpata është fshirëse e gabimeve, dhe ai do të hyjë në Xhenet nga cilado derë e Xhenetit që të dëshirojë." (Dhe tha): "Dhe një munafik që ka bërë xhihad me veten dhe pasurinë e tij, e kur është ballafaquar me armikun, ka luftuar derisa është vrarë; ky është në Zjarr, sepse shpata nuk e fshin nifakun."
