Hadith #1803 - Sunan ad-Darimi

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ بُرَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَوْرَاءِ السَّعْدِيِّ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ لِلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ : مَا تَحْفَظُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟. قَالَ : سَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنْ مَسْأَلَةٍ لَا أَدْرِي مَا هِيَ، فَقَالَ :" دَعْ مَا يَرِيبُكَ إِلَى مَا لَا يَرِيبُكَ "

#1803 Sa'id ibn 'Amir informed us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from Burayd ibn Abi Maryam, from Abu al-Hawra' al-Sa'di, who said: I said to al-Hasan ibn 'Ali: "What do you remember from the Messenger of Allah (pbuh)?" He said: A man asked him about a matter—I do not know what it was—and he said: "Leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt."

E pyetën: "Çfarë mban mend nga i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.)?" Ai u përgjigj: Një burrë e pyeti atë për një çështje – nuk e di se për çfarë – dhe ai tha: "Lere atë që të bën të dyshosh, për atë që nuk të bën të dyshosh."
