أَخْبَرَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ ، قَالَ : أَعْتَقَ رَجُلٌ مِنَّا عَبْدًا لَهُ عَنْ دُبُرٍ.
قَالَ :" فَدَعَا بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَبَاعَهُ ".
قَالَ جَابِرٌ : وَإِنَّمَا مَاتَ عَامَ أَوَّلَ.
قِيلَ لعَبْدِ اللَّهِ : تَقُولُ بِهِ؟.
قَالَ : قَوْمُ يَقُولُونَ

Hashim ibn al-Qasim informed us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Dinar, who said: I heard Jabir ibn 'Abdullah al-Ansari say: A man among us emancipated a slave of his by way of tadbir (effective after his death). He said: "So the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) called for him and sold him." Jabir said: "And he only died last year."
Transmeton Xhabir bin Abdullah el-Ensariu: Një burrë prej nesh e liroi një skllav të tij pas vdekjes së tij. Atëherë i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) e thirri skllavin dhe e shiti atë. Xhabiri tha: "Ai vdiq në vitin e parë."
