أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ ، حَدَّثَنَا.
أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو وَعَاصِمٍ ابْنَيْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ الثَّقَفِيِّ : أَنَّ سُفْيَانَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَجَدَ عَيْبَةً فَأَتَى بِهَا عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ :" عَرِّفْهَا سَنَةً، فَإِنْ عُرِفَتْ، فَذَاكَ، وَإِلَّا فَهِيَ لَكَ، فَلَمْ تُعْرَفْ، فَلَقِيَهُ بِهَا فِي الْعَامِ الْمُقْبِلِ فِي الْمَوْسِمِ فَذَكَرَهَا لَهُ، فَقَالَ عُمَرُ : هِيَ لَكَ، فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَنَا بِذَلِكَ ".
قَالَ : لَا حَاجَةَ لِي بِهَا.
فَقَبَضَهَا عُمَرُ، فَجَعَلَهَا فِي بَيْتِ الْمَالِ

Muhammad ibn al-Ala informed us, Abu Usama told us, from al-Walid ibn Kathir, who said: Amr ibn Shu'ayb narrated to me, from Amr and Asim, the sons of Sufyan ibn Abdillah ibn Rabi'a al-Thaqafi: that Sufyan ibn Abdillah found a bag and brought it to Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: "Announce it for a year; if it is recognized, then it is so, otherwise it is yours." It was not recognized, so he met him with it in the following year during the season and mentioned it to him. Umar said: "It is yours, for the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) commanded us to do that." He said: "I have no need for it." So Umar took possession of it and placed it in the public treasury.
Transmeton Sufjan bin Abdullahu: Ai gjeti një trastë dhe e solli te Omer bin el-Hatabi, i cili i tha: "Shpalle atë për një vit; nëse njihet pronari, jepja atij, përndryshe ajo është e jotja." Meqë nuk u kërkua nga askush, ai e takoi Omerin vitin e ardhshëm gjatë sezonit të haxhit dhe ia përmendi këtë. Omeri i tha: "Ajo është e jotja, sepse i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) na ka urdhëruar kështu." Sufjani i tha: "Nuk kam nevojë për të." Atëherë Omeri e mori atë dhe e vendosi në Bejtul Mal.
