أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَرْعَرَةُ بْنُ الْبِرِنْدِ السَّامِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ :" مَنِ احْتَفَرَ بِئْرًا، فَلَيْسَ لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَحْفِرَ حَوْلَهُ أَرْبَعِينَ ذِرَاعًا عَطَنًا لِمَاشِيَتِهِ "
#1896 Ishaq bin Ibrahim informed us, saying Ar'arah bin al-Birind al-Sami informed us, saying Ismail bin Muslim narrated to us, from al-Hasan, from Abdullah bin Mughaffal, from the Messenger of Allah (pbuh), who said: "Whoever digs a well, no one has the right to dig around it within forty cubits as a resting place for his livestock."
