أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ : أَنَّ أَبَا مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيَّ اسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَى عُمَرَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ، فَلَمْ يُؤْذَنْ لَهُ، فَرَجَعَ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ :" إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَ الْمُسْتَأْذِنُ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ : فَإِنْ أُذِنَ لَهُ وَإِلَّا، فَلْيَرْجِعْ "، فَقَالَ : لَتَأْتِيَنَّ بِمَنْ يَشْهَدُ مَعَكَ، أَوْ لَأَفْعَلَنَّ، وَلَأَفْعَلَنَّ.
قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ : فَأَتَانَا وَأَنَا فِي قَوْمٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ، وَهُوَ فَزِعٌ مِنْ وَعِيدِ عُمَرَ إِيَّاهُ، فَقَامَ عَلَيْنَا، فَقَالَ : أَنْشُدُ اللَّهَ مِنْكُمْ رَجُلًا سَمِعَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا شَهِدَ لِي بِهِ.
قَالَ : فَرَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي، فَقُلْتُ : أَخْبِرْهُ أَنِّي مَعَكَ عَلَى هَذَا.
وَقَالَ ذَاكَ آخَرُونَ، فَسُرِّيَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى

Abu al-Nu'man informed us, Yazid bin Zuray' narrated to us, Dawud narrated to us, from Abu Nadrah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri: that Abu Musa al-Ash'ari sought permission to enter upon 'Umar three times, but he was not granted permission, so he returned. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) say: "If a seeker of permission seeks permission three times: then if permission is granted to him [well and good], otherwise he should return." He ('Umar) said: "You must surely bring someone who bears witness with you, or I shall surely do [such and such] to you." Abu Sa'id said: So he came to us while I was among a group of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) in the mosque, and he was terrified by 'Umar's threat to him. He stood before us and said: "I adjure by Allah any man among you who heard that from the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) to testify for me regarding it." He said: So I raised my head and said: "Inform him that I am with you regarding this." Others also said that, and Abu Musa's distress was relieved.
Transmeton Ebu Seid el-Hudriu: Ebu Musa el-Esh'ariu i kërkoi leje Omerit tri herë, por pasi nuk iu dha leje, ai u kthye. Ai tha: "E kam dëgjuar të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) duke thënë: 'Nëse kërkuesi i lejes kërkon leje tri herë dhe i jepet leje (hyon), përndryshe le të kthehet'." Omeri i tha: "Ose do të më sjellësh dikë që dëshmon bashkë me ty, ose do të bëj këtë e do të bëj atë (do të të ndëshkoj)." Ebu Seidi tha: Ai erdhi te ne kur unë isha me një grup prej shokëve të të Dërguarit të Allahut (s.a.v.s.) në xhami, i tmerruar nga kërcënimi i Omerit ndaj tij. Ai u ndal para nesh dhe tha: "Ju bëj thirrje në emër të Allahut, kushdo prej jush që e ka dëgjuar këtë nga i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.), le të dëshmojë për mua." Atëherë unë ngrita kokën dhe i thashë: "Lajmëroje atë se unë jam me ty në këtë." Edhe të tjerët thanë të njëjtën gjë, dhe kështu Ebu Musa u qetësua.
