أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ هُوَ : ابْنُ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ جَابِرٍ الْقَاضِي ، عَنِ النَّوَّاسِ بْنِ سَمْعَانَ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْبِرِّ وَالْإِثْمِ، فَقَالَ :" الْبِرُّ حُسْنُ الْخُلُقِ، وَالْإِثْمُ مَا حَاكَ فِي نَفْسِكَ وَكَرِهْتَ أَنْ يَعْلَمَهُ النَّاسُ ". أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاق بْنُ عِيسَى ، عَنْ مَعْنِ بْنِ عِيسَى ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ النَّوَّاسِ بْنِ سَمْعَانَ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. .. .. .. .. فَذَكَرَ بِنَحْوِهِ
#2055 Abu al-Mughirah informed us, Safwan—he is ibn 'Amr—narrated to us, he said: Yahya ibn Jabir al-Qadi narrated to me, from al-Nawwas ibn Sam'an, who said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) about righteousness and sin, and he said: "Righteousness is good character, and sin is that which wavers in your soul and you dislike for people to know about it." Ishaq ibn 'Isa informed us, from Ma'n ibn 'Isa, from Mu'awiyah ibn Salih, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Jubayr ibn Nufayr, from his father, from al-Nawwas ibn Sam'an, who said: I asked the Prophet (pbuh)... and he mentioned the like of it.

Transmeton Nuvas ibn Sem'ani: E pyeta të Dërguarin e Allahut (s.a.v.s.) rreth mirësisë dhe mëkatit, e ai tha: "Mirësia është morali i mirë, ndërsa mëkati është ajo që të bren në shpirt dhe që e urren ta marrin vesh njerëzit."
