أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، قَالَ : أُرَاهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ عِشْرُونَ وَمِائَةُ صَفٍّ : ثَمَانُونَ مِنْهَا أُمَّتِي، وَأَرْبَعُونَ سَائِرُ النَّاسِ "
#2098 Muhammad ibn al-Ala' informed us, saying: Mu'awiyah ibn Hisham narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Alqama ibn Marthad, from Sulayman ibn Burayda, who said: I believe he narrated it from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "The people of Paradise consist of one hundred and twenty rows: eighty of them are from my nation, and forty are from the rest of the people."
