#2121 Sa'id ibn 'Amir informed us, on the authority of Shu'bah, on the authority of 'Asim, on the authority of Abu 'Uthman, on the authority of Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas and on the authority of Abu Bakrah. Shu'bah said: "This was the first to shoot an arrow in the cause of Allah, and this one let himself down from the fortress of Ta'if to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh)." They both narrated that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Whoever claims descent from other than his father while he knows that he is not his father, Paradise is forbidden for him."
