Hashim ibn al-Qasim narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Murrah, from 'Abdullah ibn Salamah, who said: Ali used to include the grandfather in sharing with the brothers [in inheritance] until he became a sixth.
