Abdullah bin Yazid informed us, Haywah narrated to us, Abu al-Aswad Muhammad bin 'Abd al-Rahman bin Nawfal narrated to us: that 'Asim bin 'Umar bin Qatadah al-Ansari informed him: that 'Umar bin al-Khattab sought for whoever would inherit from Ibn al-Dahdahah, but he did not find an heir, so he gave the wealth of Ibn al-Dahdahah to the maternal uncles of Ibn al-Dahdahah.
