أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مسْلَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سِنَانٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ :" إِنَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ مَأْدُبَةُ اللَّهِ، فَخُذُوا مِنْهُ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ، فَإِنِّي لَا أَعْلَمُ شَيْئًا أَصْفَرَ مِنْ خَيْرٍ، مِنْ بَيْتٍ لَيْسَ فِيهِ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ شَيْءٌ، وَإِنَّ الْقَلْبَ الَّذِي لَيْسَ فِيهِ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ شَيْءٌ، خَرِبٌ كَخَرَابِ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي لَا سَاكِنَ لَهُ "
#2563 We were informed by Abd Allah bin Khalid bin Hazim, Muhammad bin Maslamah narrated to us, Abu Sinan narrated to us, from Abi Ishaq, from Abi al-Ahwas, from Abd Allah, who said: "Indeed, this Qur'an is the banquet of Allah, so take from it as much as you are able. For I do not know of anything more void of good than a house in which there is nothing of the Book of Allah; and indeed, the heart that contains nothing of the Book of Allah is ruinous, like the ruin of a house that has no inhabitant."
