حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَيَّانَ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ حَيَّانَ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ ، قَالَ : قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا خَطِيبًا فَحَمِدَ، اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ،إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَنِي رَسُولُ رَبِّي، فَأُجِيبَهُ، وَإِنِّي تَارِكٌ فِيكُمْ الثَّقَلَيْنِ : أَوَّلُهُمَا كِتَابُ اللَّهِ فِيهِ الْهُدَى وَالنُّورُ، فَتَمَسَّكُوا بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ، وَخُذُوا بِهِ " فَحَثَّ عَلَيْهِ وَرَغَّبَ فِيهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ : " وَأَهْلَ بَيْتِي، أُذَكِّرُكُمْ اللَّهَ فِي أَهْلِ بَيْتِي، ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ "
#2572 Ja'far ibn 'Awn narrated to us, Abu Hayyan narrated to us, from Yazid ibn Hayyan, from Zayd ibn Arqam, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) stood one day to deliver a sermon; he praised Allah and extolled Him, then he said: "O people, I am but a human being; it is imminent that the messenger of my Lord will come to me and I shall respond. I am leaving among you two weighty things: the first of them is the Book of Allah, in which there is guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it." He exhorted [the people] to it and encouraged interest in it, then he said: "And the members of my household; I remind you of Allah regarding the members of my household," three times.

Transmeton Zejd bin Erkami: Një ditë, i Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) u ngrit për të mbajtur një hutbe, e falënderoi Allahun dhe e lavdëroi Atë, e pastaj tha: "O njerëz! Unë jam vetëm një njeri. Së shpejti do të më vijë i dërguari i Zotit tim dhe unë do t'i përgjigjem. Unë po lë mes jush dy gjëra të vlefshme: e para është Libri i Allahut, në të cilin ka udhëzim dhe dritë, andaj kapuni fort pas Librit të Allahut dhe përmbajuni atij." Ai nxiti dhe inkurajoi për të, e pastaj tha: "Dhe familjen time (Ehli Bejtin). Ju përkujtoj Allahun për familjen time!" - këtë e përsëriti tri herë.
