حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُبَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ ، عَنْ نَاجِيَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ L7835 ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ :" أَكْثِرُوا تِلَاوَةَ الْقُرْآنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُرْفَعَ، قَالُوا : هَذِهِ الْمَصَاحِفُ تُرْفَعُ، فَكَيْفَ بِمَا فِي صُدُورِ الرِّجَالِ؟ قَالَ : يُسْرَى عَلَيْهِ لَيْلًا فَيُصْبِحُونَ مِنْهُ فُقَرَاءَ، وَيَنْسَوْنَ قَوْلَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَيَقَعُونَ فِي قَوْلِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ وَأَشْعَارِهِمْ، وَذَلِكَ حِينَ يَقَعُ عَلَيْهِمْ الْقَوْلُ "

Ja'far ibn 'Awn narrated to us, Musa ibn 'Ubaydah narrated to us, from Safwan ibn Sulaym, from Najiyah ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Utbah, from his father, from 'Abdullah, who said: "Recite the Qur'an frequently before it is taken away." They said: "These copies of the Mushaf are taken away, but what about that which is in the hearts of men?" He said: "It will be taken away by night, and they will wake up destitute of it; they will forget the saying: 'There is no god but Allah,' and they will fall into the speech of the Pre-Islamic Ignorance (Jahiliyyah) and their poetry. That is when the Word shall befall them."
Transmeton Abdullahu: Shtojeni leximin e Kuranit para se ai të ngrihet. Thanë: "Këto mus-hafe do të ngrihen, po çfarë do të bëhet me atë që gjendet në gjokset e njerëzve?" Ai tha: "Do të merret brenda një nate, kështu që në mëngjes do të gdhihen të varfër prej tij. Ata do të harrojnë thënien 'La ilahe il-lallah' dhe do të bien në thëniet dhe poezitë e xhahilijetit; kjo do të ndodhë atëherë kur të përmbushet Fjala mbi ta."
