حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَيْفَعُ بْنُ عَبْدٍ الْكَلَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَجُلٌ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَيُّ سُورَةِ الْقُرْآنِ أَعْظَمُ؟ قَالَ :" قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ "، قَالَ : فَأَيُّ آيَةٍ فِي الْقُرْآنِ أَعْظَمُ؟ قَالَ : " آيَةُ الْكُرْسِيِّ : # اللَّهُ لا إِلَهَ إِلا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ سورة البقرة آية 255 #، قَالَ : فَأَيُّ آيَةٍ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ تُحِبُّ أَنْ تُصِيبَكَ وَأُمَّتَكَ؟ قَالَ : خَاتِمَةُ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ ، فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ خَزَائِنِ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ، مِنْ تَحْتِ عَرْشِهِ، أَعْطَاهَا هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ، لَمْ تَتْرُكْ خَيْرًا مِنْ خَيْرِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ "
#2636 Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, Safwan narrated to us, Ayfa' bin 'Abd al-Kala'i narrated to me, who said: A man said: O Messenger of Allah, which Surah of the Qur'an is the greatest? He (pbuh) said: "Say: He is Allah, [who is] One." He asked: Then which verse in the Qur'an is the greatest? He (pbuh) said: "Ayat al-Kursi: {Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence} [Surah al-Baqarah, verse 255]." He asked: Then which verse, O Prophet of Allah, do you love to reach you and your Ummah? He (pbuh) said: "The conclusion of Surah al-Baqarah, for indeed it is from the treasures of Allah's mercy, from beneath His Throne; He gave it to this Ummah, and it has not left out any good from the good of this world and the Hereafter except that it has encompassed it."

Transmeton Ajfe' bin Abd el-Kelai se një burrë pyeti: "O i Dërguari i Allahut, cila sure e Kuranit është më e madhja?" Ai (s.a.v.s.) u përgjigj: "Kul Huwallahu Ehad." Burri pyeti: "Po cili ajet i Kuranit është më i madhi?" Ai (s.a.v.s.) u përgjigj: "Ajeti Kursi: 'Allahu la ilahe il-la Huvel-Hajjul-Kajjum'." Burri pyeti: "O Pejgamber i Allahut, cilin ajet dëshiron që të të takojë ty dhe ummetit tënd?" Ai (s.a.v.s.) tha: "Mbarimi i sures el-Bekare, sepse ato janë prej thesareve të mëshirës së Allahut, nga poshtë Arshit të Tij. Ai ia dha këtij ummeti dhe nuk kanë lënë asnjë të mirë prej të mirave të kësaj bote dhe të ahiretit pa e përfshirë atë."
