حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْعَطَّارِ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ ، عَنْ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ :" أَيَعْجِزُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ؟ قَالُوا : نَحْنُ أَعْجَزُ وَأَضْعَفُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَزَّأَ الْقُرْآنَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَجْزَاءٍ، فَجَعَلَ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ "
#2687 Muslim bin Ibrahim narrated to us, from Aban bin Yazid al-Attar, Qatadah narrated to us, from Salim bin Abi al-Ja'd, from Ma'dan bin Abi Talhah, from Abu al-Darda, who said: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "Is any one of you unable to recite one-third of the Quran in a night?" They said: "We are more incapable and weaker than that." So he said: "Indeed, Allah divided the Quran into three parts, and He made 'Say, He is Allah, [who is] One' one-third of the Quran."

Transmeton Ebu Derda: I Dërguari i Allahut (s.a.v.s.) tha: "A është i pafuqishëm ndonjëri prej jush që të lexojë një të tretën e Kur'anit brenda një nate?" Ata thanë: "Ne jemi më të pafuqishëm dhe më të dobët se aq." Ai tha: "Vërtet, Allahu e ka ndarë Kur'anin në tri pjesë, dhe e ka bërë 'Kul huwallahu ehad' (Suretu el-Ihlas) sa një e treta e Kur'anit."
