#2737 Muhammad ibn Humayd narrated to us, Harun narrated to us, from 'Anbasah, from Layth, from Talhah ibn Musarrif, from Mus'ab ibn Sa'd, from Sa'd, who said: "If the completion of the Qur'an coincides with the beginning of the night, the angels pray for him until the morning; and if its completion coincides with the end of the night, the angels pray for him until the evening. Thus, sometimes a portion [of the Qur'an] would remain with one of us, and he would delay it until the evening or the morning."
